Spain’s Tom

Casual concertgoers, to the extent that they consider the subject at all, are apt to think of Renaissance music as something that occurred in Italy and Northern Europe. It’s a reasonable notion, since the major composers whose work we encounter today lived and worked in one of those two geographical centers.

All of them, that is, except one.
